Nuez Acres is a female-led, indigenous-owned business that spans generations and connects the entire back of ‘Turtle Island.’ Every pecan is sustainability farmed and hand-picked in my wife’s father’s orchard. We export the nuts from Mexico to our processing facility in British Columbia and use a high-end expeller press to create 100% pure, organic pecan oil. Then, we blend them into our nourishing serums, tinctures, and scrubs. Beautiful bottles, organic ingredients, and honest marketing are a wonderful start, but the end result matters most. We create wholesome products that truly heal your skin, rather than just covering it up. We have been featured in the extraordinary man box as the first indigenous-owned company in their box. We represented the Metis community at The PNE this year as well as many other community markets that we attend weekly. We are Canada’s only indigenous pecan oil producer and we are indigenous-owned. We are also in the semi-finals for the pow wow pitch to win 25k to further our business along. We will also be bringing our Métis sashes to New York in March 2022 to launch Nuez Acres in the SOHO district.
